Any thoughts on Freightos as a company in terms of their competitive advantage against their peers? Receiving a lot of press and names dropping lately, what's unique about their mouse trap that others can't replicate?
At the time of this article writting i did not have too much insight into FreightOS. In meanwhile i have learned that they do air and ocean booking - so yes they qualify among the Freight management platforms as well. Their unique thing is that they have also insight into pricing, e.g. if i do request a booking to carrier, they got API to their pricing system to retrieve the SPOT prices for the customer as part of the booking response. That is truly unique in market of freight platforms. But watch out - it is only applicable for SPOT process, i.e. if shipper has no agreed rates/contracts.
